Bellbird Hearing Timaru is Turning 5!

Our Timaru clinic is celebrating five wonderful years of supporting our local community with better hearing and better connections.

Since opening our doors, it has been a privilege to help so many people in Timaru and the surrounding districts hear more clearly, stay connected with loved ones, and enjoy the sounds that make life special.

It’s Tinnitus Awareness Week!
Ringing, buzzing, hissing or other noises in your ears? You’re not alone. Tinnitus affects millions of people worldwide and can have a real impact on sleep, concentration and quality of life. The good news is that help is available and there are many ways to reduce the impact of tinnitus.

Key Facts About Tinnitus:
• Tinnitus affects around 10-20% of people worldwide.
• Common triggers include exposure to loud noises, aging, head or neck injuries, and stress.
• While there’s currently no instant cure, there are many ways to help manage symptoms and improve quality of life.

During Tinnitus Awareness Week (2 – 8 February), we’re raising awareness and encouraging anyone experiencing ongoing ear noise to seek advice. A hearing assessment and personalised management plan can make a meaningful difference.
