Review of Vibroacoustic Therapy Relaxation Therapy at Number 5 George Street, Timaru, run by Jill Myers.

No 5 George Street, in the heart of Timaru’s business district, is well known for its holistic approach to health solutions. I found my session of Vibroacoustic therapy, as it advertises itself, a very useful of relaxation. In a one hour long session, set to frequencies suggested for my Rheumatoid Arthritis worked well from the very start of the session. Rheumatoid Arthritis has a negative effect on blood pressure, which was my primary concern. Vibroacoustic Therapy works on Blood Pressure as a matter of course, being a relaxation technique, so I requested treatment for my digestion which is affected negatively by the strong chemotherapy drugs used to treat RA.
From the outset one feels the restfulness working. The negativity is steadily released, one can feel the repetitive and unhelpful thoughts being gently emptied from the mind. It is replaced by simple contemplative feelings of bliss, serene and contemplative. Ultimately the treatment is energizing. The strong medication I have to take on a Monday night usually makes me quite unwell on a Tuesday, but the Vibroacoustic treatment reduced the nausea, and brought about a feeling of wellbeing for the days following.
