๐Ÿ˜ฌ I've been pretty quiet on social media of late, and with a pretty good reason why ๐Ÿคฐ๐Ÿผ Our family is growing come March next year!
I'm still working away with my clients, getting them set for the summer season ๐Ÿ’ช All weekday slots are full, but I do have a couple of weekend morning PT sessions available if you want to get on board this side of Christmas, let's get you booked NOW ๐Ÿ“ฅ
As for me, my workouts have changed a lot, now mainly consisting of yoga, walking and body weight sessions. ๐Ÿง˜๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ The fatigue of running around after a toddler while pregnant is real! But movement makes me feel great, so I continue to do what I can! Making the most of this beautiful weather in the Bay too! ๐Ÿ

I'm not going to lie its been a whirlwind since getting back into PT! I've been fully booked since March and my clients have been busy getting it done through the winter months ๐Ÿ’ช
And as we see more of the sun, the countdown to summer begins...and I'm here for it! 20mins stretching on the sunny deck was perfect for today ๐Ÿ‘Œ

Sometimes I'd like to have a bit more time to spend on taking the perfect pics for the gram, or wearing the right outfits. But in all honesty I squeeze a workout in when I can, wearing whatever I have on, and baby monitor in hand ๐Ÿ‘ถ
I also won't retouch or filter my pics because I want my girl to grow up knowing she's perfect without any touch ups, and to be confident in the skin she's in.๐Ÿฅฐ
If you don't have time for any of that extra la la too, then maybe I'm the PT for you. Getting things done without the faff!! ๐Ÿ™Š

It took me 18 months to achieve the transformation in the first image. It was hard work and dedication combined with a really strong reason WHY I wanted to change.
But the key here is I've managed to maintain a healthy physique and relationship with food & exercise 4 years later. Swipe โžก๏ธ for current condition (and note this is 1 year postpartum).
Losing weight is a challenge, but keeping it off is another story. I teach my nutrition team the skills they need to live a healthy lifestyle in the body they are proud of. I teach you the tools you can continue to use for the rest of your life!

Have you ever felt like what you want to achieve is just too far out of reach? You have this great goal, and you really want to achieve it, but it just seems a bit overwhelming...so what's the point in even trying?
I've felt like that too. ๐Ÿ™‹๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ
My advice is to break that goal up into small stepping stones. And just take it one step at a time. When the full goal is a bit intimidating, small stepping stones can feel more achievable and rewarding!

๐Ÿ”น๏ธ10x Squats
๐Ÿ”น๏ธ10x Alternating Lunges
๐Ÿ”น๏ธ10x Push Ups
๐Ÿ”น๏ธ10x Sit Ups
๐Ÿ”น๏ธRepeat at least 3x, increase this as you get stronger!

To achieve your health and fitness you MUST have a deep seeded reason WHY you can't go on the way you are, and WHY making a change is vital for you.
My WHY has changed recently, now I want to be the best I can be for my daughter. I want to be fit and so I can run around with her as she gets older. And I want her to see a good relationship with food an exercise so she feels as she grows up.
Today I felt pretty flat, and when it was time for her nap I really wanted to nap too. But there was no reason for me to feel that way, I'm not sick and not tired, I was just feeling unmotivated. It was my reason WHY that got me into the gym and moving! And afterwards, I felt great!
I encourage you to think about your WHY. Think beyond the "I want to get fit and tone up" and dig deeper. What's going to get you going on the days you just don't want to, and keep you going when things get tough. Find your driving force, and go get it!!

Giving thanks daily is the best way to maintain a positive outlook. Finding things around you to be grateful for is proven to improve mental health and sense of wellbeing. I encourage you to give it a try!!
