Awesome tane session a fortnight ago still buzzing over a Taupo Marathon event.

Tomorrow we have our tane session at 6pm Muscle & Curves Fitness Centre 💓🙌

Come and have a cuppa with the brothers and do some fellowship as we prepare for the next Kaupapa ⭐💓

Last fortnight Tuesday we had the privilege of Nurse auntie Kerrie from South Waikato Pacific Islands Community Services Awhi us on how we can better look after our health and physical well-being. It was perfect timing as they South Waikato Brothers Collective were prepared for their 1st ever Taupo Marathon which was a huge success.

This coming Tuesday 6pm at Muscle & Curves Fitness Centre is a Tane "Goals" driven session where we talk about what steps we can take to be successful in what we are aiming for in life ⭐✨💯

Well done to all our tane and their whanau that supported our "We have you back" Run event Taupo Marathon 💓🙌✨

So proud of their courage and determination to complete the 10km run in a really good time 💖🙏 They went hard!!

Massive thank you to Tuwharetoa brother Rob for taking us into their whare Kia Ora Strength & Conditioning and Awhi our tane. 💗🙌

For some of our tane it was their first time to take part in a marathon event..massive ups for smashing their goal and getting out of their comfort zone.

If you knew the back story of some of our tane, and the adversity they've gone thru to get over their mounga and darkness, then you'll understand how massive it was to complete the run. However they couldn't't have done it without the whanau 💓 🙌 💯

Onto the next Kaupapa of keeping our tane engaged, valued, and a part of a movement that's going to change so many of our tane lives for the better ⭐🙏✨

Kia Orana to our local tane - see you all next week Tuesday 6pm at Muscle & Curves Fitness Centre for another great session of fellowship, aroha, and meaningful conversations about how we as tane can be better fathers / partners / husbands, and role models for our children/ mokos 🙌✨⭐❤️🙏

Our guest speaker will be one of the choice nurses from South Waikato Pacific Islands Community Services coming into korero about looking after our physical health; taking our blood pressure, educating us on making small life style changes so we can be around for our kids as they get older. 🙌💪❤️

We encourage new tane to join us in parting a part of a movement thats all about uplifting Tane to be the best they can be 🥰✨⭐

So blessed to do a morning exercise walk & talk session with my good work friends Auntie Patsy, who is a health and fitness guru from way back. She gave me some awesome gems to share with our tane participating in the Taupo Marathon in 2 weeks.

She has a wealth of knowledge about health and well-being and enjoys daily walks with her little dog Elli.

Thank you Auntie Patsy for your kind encouraging words - our tane will take your awesome advice and use it as fuel to get over the finish line.

Another awesome evening with our tane learning about budgeting and the value of finances and how it's so important to get it right because we know as tane, it's one of the primary stresses that make or break us in a relationship and life.

Kia ora Sth Waikato tane, our local MC Mens Life Matters tane well-being group in partnership with muscle and curves fitness are having a relaunch of their group this week. SWBC have been supporting them from day one and look forward to seeing their their awesome kaupapa.

Doors are open to all our tane that may need a safe space to korero with no judgement.

The tane group is about tautoko our tane (thru korero) that may be going through the hardships of life. With the unstable climate, high unemployment, financials stress, depression, anxiety, and past trauma - having a safe space to korero may be the difference in whether our tane will come home or not.

Grassroots fellowship, aroha, kanohi ki te kanohi, and a listening ear is what our tane need so please join MLM.
