As many of us Kiwi’s do, I TOO did an OE in London. 👇

I began my career after graduating from Otago University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. 🙇‍♂️

A real highlight was the 10 years I spent working as a Cosmetic Dentist on London's Harley Street. This overseas experience was invaluable to bring back to little ol’ Aotearoa, NZ.

Crossbite! What even is that? 🤷‍♂️

If you close your mouth, and some of your upper teeth sit inside your lower teeth (not on the outside, as they normally do) 👉 this crossbite.

One complication from having a crossbite means some teeth can get worn and chipped more easily than others. 😕

Damian's smile? Transformed! ✨ From spacing around his front teeth; to a flawless result with Invisalign.

The main challenge for Damian was his lower teeth, which were unusually high (we call this a deep bite). This not only complicated closing gaps, but also added the requirement to fix some chipping on his front teeth. 😬 All good!

Identifying goals and and crafting a tailored solution is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. 😁 With Damian’s two complications we went for the complete Invisalign package. After just a short 11-month journey, Damian's grin is now flawless, and he can't stop smiling!

Another great for client, Hannah! 🤩 Hannah had always dreamed of narrowing the spacing in her front teeth, and we achieved that dream with Invisalign! 🌟😁

1️⃣ After assessing her teeth alignment, it became clear that to achieve the perfect smile we’d need to gently move the her lower front teeth down, and back.

2️⃣ The second step of this process was correcting the slight flaring or "canting" of the two front teeth, so they are more vertically aligned.

3️⃣ For the finishing touches, to add that extra sparkle, we addressed the minor wear around the edges with a touch of bonding (white filling material). 🦷✨
