At Wanaka Pharmacy, we are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our community by providing high-quality pharmaceutical care and expert advice. We are looking for a sales superstar and customer-oriented Pharmacy Retail Assistant to join our fun and dynamic team.
Job Description:
As a Pharmacy Retail Assistant, you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting our store. You will assist with sales, stock management, customer service, and providing expert advice on non-prescription medications, beauty and wellness products, and general pharmacy queries. This role would be part time 3-4 days a week.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers, providing outstanding customer service and a positive shopping experience.
Promote and sell pharmacy products, including health and wellness items, beauty products, and medical supplies.
Handle over-the-counter sales transactions, including processing payments, issuing receipts, and ensuring pricing accuracy.
Assist with stock management, including organizing and shelving inventory, as well as managing stock levels to avoid shortages.
Assist in maintaining the pharmacyβs appearance, ensuring shelves are stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
Answer customer questions regarding products, store policies, and basic health-related inquiries.
Provide support for the daily operations of the Pharmacists and work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth service delivery.
