Second blood panel was much more favorable. It only showed anemia. I go back in one month and will probably have imaging. Mom is gonna sleep better now

Parents are stressing especially mom. I had my oncology visit on Monday. Doc was impressed by my weight gain. We were waiting to get the blood work results. Papa got a call today while mom was at work and the doctor said I have a lot of bad results. She called me back in to do a recheck of my blood work because she didn’t think it made sense against how well I seem. Mama is still stressed out though. Really hoping something got messed up and the second set of tests shows a more favorable scenario. One silver lining is tonight after Bruiser got his fluid injection, we got to share a tuna filet in crab sauce

Mom here: Rough day for Curlin (again). and Papa too. Papa took Curlin in for his appointment with the heart specialist. He had all kinds of stuff examined with his heart. There are a lot of big words but the short story is Congestive Heart Failure. Stage C cardiomyopathy which we don't fully comprehend yet and pericardial effusions. Papa also needed to take Curlin back to VCA to have his lung drained after the heart specialist stuff because there was fluid again in his lungs. Curlin's prognosis is "very guarded" for the short and long term and consideration of the bridge was presented again, something we need to try to grasp in our reality and don't want to especially because we still aren't over Optimus leaving us for the bridge 2.5 years ago.
