The clubhouse turned green… and so did the smiles ☘️

What a night at Karaka Lifestyle Estate. Residents went all in for St Patrick’s Day, with a clubhouse full of laughter, great company, and yes… even green food.

It’s moments like this that show what life here is really about. Not just beautiful spaces, but people coming together and making the most of them.

A brilliant evening, and a perfect way to enjoy the new clubhouse.

A wonderful evening at Karaka Pines Rototuna as residents gathered to celebrate the birthday of Robert Burns, Scotland’s national poet.

It’s moments like these that make village life so special - celebrating culture, sharing stories, and enjoying it all together. There was laughter, a few heartfelt words, and of course a dram raised in good company.

Big progress at Karaka Pines Rototuna.

The steel is up and our new Clubhouse is starting to take shape. Watching each beam lifted into place makes it feel real — this is the space where residents will gather, connect and enjoy village life together.

More than a building, it will be the heart of the village.

What does a typical week look like at Karaka Pines Waihi Beach?

A fantastic day on the green at Woodcroft Estate as our Village Pairs Bowling Competition came to a close.

After some great games and plenty of friendly rivalry, a big congratulations to Dean and Vi, who took out the win in the finals. A well-deserved result and a wonderful effort from you both.

It was also lovely to see so many residents come along to watch, cheer and enjoy the afternoon together. That’s what it’s all about – a bit of competition, plenty of laughs, and good company.

Well done to everyone who took part. We’re already looking forward to the next one.

❤️ Valentine’s Dinner at Kempton Park Village❤️

What a brilliant night at Kempton Park celebrating Valentine’s Day together. The room looked fantastic, everyone made the effort to dress up, and the food was a hit all round.

The highlight? A surprise “proposal” 💍🌹 that had the whole room laughing.

It’s these moments of friendship and humour that make our village such a great place to live.

What a great way to mark Waitangi Day at Karaka Lifestyle Estate🌿

Our residents enjoyed a relaxed BBQ by the pool on Friday, with a wonderful turnout and plenty of time to sit back, chat and enjoy the sunshine.

A big thank you to Marion, Lynette and Eileen for organising such a lovely afternoon. The Ukelele Group added something really special, performing a Waitangi Day song set they’d been practising for weeks - and even bringing along song sheets so everyone could join in.

Moments like these are what make our community what it is: easy company, shared traditions, and people who genuinely enjoy spending time together.

Residents have been busy protecting the plum trees, carefully netting them to keep the birds at bay and help the fruit reach harvest. It’s a simple job, but a good example of how shared spaces at Karaka Pines Rototuna are looked after - together.

Friday night fun just got an upgrade at Karaka Pines Waihi Beach, with a brand new pool table now in the clubhouse. Residents enjoyed their first evening of games recently and stayed on well past the usual Friday catch-up.

We couldn’t find an oversized Santa Claus to sit on his knees, so they took turns hugging around the tree instead.

The All Blacks supporters at Waihi Beach have turned our clubhouse into game day central! With a big Sky TV and plenty of food and refreshments brought by residents, it’s all about cheering together and having a good time.

Retirement here means living it up with mates who know how to have fun!

Easter Sunday at Karaka Pines Waihi Beach was one for the books! Robyn didn't have bunny ears like the rest of the crew, so she brought a carrot to feed the other hungry bunnies. A simple act that turned into the highlight of our day.
