Today I just want to say thank you — truly — to our gym family and the wider community for the messages, check-ins, and quiet acts of kindness. They mean more than I can put into words. When people show up, even in small ways, it reminds me that this place has always been about more than walls and equipment. It’s about people.
This journey is longer and more complex than it looks from the outside. It isn’t just cleaning up and starting again. There are so many moving pieces and decisions that sit outside of my control — and sometimes that part is the hardest.
Right now, recovery from the flood has become a full-time job in itself. It’s taking up a lot of my physical energy and mental space as I work through insurance, repairs, and the many steps needed to rebuild safely and properly.
I know some of you might be missing your daily workout, your routine, or even your favourite place to grab a coffee. But what I’m missing right now is my whole business — something that isn’t just where I work, but a huge part of who I am and the life I’ve built.
So I gently ask for your patience as I navigate this next chapter. Your understanding and continued support mean more than you know. And I promise — this is only a pause, not the end. We’ll find our way back, together. 💛
