❄️Daring to set boundaries is about having the courage to love ourselves, even when we risk disappointing others.
We can't base our own worthiness on others' approval. Only when we believe, deep down, that we are enough can we say "Enough!"

✨️Dharma ~ Divine Purpose✨️
It is not necessary to fully know the entirety of your purpose in order to pursue it.
When you’re living in alignment with your dharma, there is no separation between your inner and outer realities.
It becomes a cohesive expression, therefore granting a feeling of wholeness and completion.
Perhaps you are
not clear on your desired outcome, so your efforts feel unfocused or purposeless. Even if you’ve lost touch with your “why” remain open to the mystery of the journey.
Stay focused and playful.
Keep following the signs. 🪶🪶🪶

🏵 In a world that moves too fast and speaks too loudly, the truest sanctuaries are not found in distant places but in the quiet gifts we often overlook.
🏵Silence, where the soul can finally exhale and listen to its own wisdom.
🏵Solitude, where we meet ourselves without distraction and remember who we truly are.
🏵Stillness, where the restless heart finds its rhythm again, unburdened by urgency.
🏵And simplicity, where joy is not tangled in excess but found in the beauty of what is essential.
🏵These are the places where we heal, where we reconnect with the deepest parts of ourselves.

🍂 Even a wounded world is feeding us.
Even a wounded world holds us, giving us moments of wonder and joy.
I choose joy over despair.
Not because I have my head in the sand, but because joy is what the earth gives me daily and I must return the gift.🍂

WAITING
You keep waiting for something to happen,
the thing that lifts you out of yourself,
catapults you into doing all the things you’ve put off
the great things you’re meant to do in your life,
but somehow never quite get to.

You keep waiting for the planets to shift
the new moon to bring news,
the universe to align, something to give.

Meanwhile, the pile of papers, the laundry, the dishes the job —
it all stacks up while you keep hoping
for some miracle to blast down upon you,
scattering the piles to the winds.

Sometimes you lie in bed, terrified of your life.
Sometimes you laugh at the privilege of waking.
But all the while, life goes on in its messy way.
And then you turn forty. Or fifty. Or sixty…
and some part of you realizes you are not alone
and you find signs of this in the animal kingdom —
when a snake sheds its skin its eyes glaze over,
it slinks under a rock, not wanting to be touched,
and when caterpillar turns to butterfly
if the pupa is brushed, it will die —
and when the bird taps its beak hungrily against the egg
it’s because the thing is too small, too small,
and it needs to break out.

And midlife walks you into that wisdom
that this is what transformation looks like —
the mess of it, the tapping at the walls of your life,
the yearning and writhing and pushing,
until one day, one day
you emerge from the wreck
embracing both the immense dawn
and the dusk of the body,
glistening, beautiful
just as you are.

☀️You cannot go through the years simply letting things ride.
☀️Stand up.
☀️Create.
☀️Write.
☀️Build a doorway.
☀️Use your body.

💜🪻 Hold space for yourself. 🪻💜
"I don’t think it’s any surprise that we’re living in what we might call liminal times; things are shaky and uncertain, and there’s a felt sense that we’re “in between” one thing and another.
The deep instability and groundlessness in the world has a way of being mirrored in our own psyche and soma: in our muscles and cell tissue, hearts, and nervous systems; and affecting our capacity to feel and to imagine. To dream a new dream.
Making time and space in our lives to establish an inner home – or holding environment – for the scattered pieces of soul to emerge and be metabolised is one of the essential tasks on any embodied, emotionally-grounded, somatically-sensitive path of transformation and healing.

Taking time each day to interrupt the trance of the collective, the pull into a survival-level restlessness, return into our bodies, and provide an inner temple in which we can feel, where that which has remained unlived can come into embodied reality and disclose its wisdom.

The soul has its own language, fragrance, and ways of expressing itself that aren’t always apparent in the busyness and stress of our daily lives. It communicates to us in a language that is unique to each of us, by way of image, emotion, feeling, and synchronicity. And especially through our relationships, and what we call “the relational field,” between us and another.

As we learn to “meet the soul halfway” as an inner partner and friend, it may surprise us to discover how close it truly is, working behind the scenes to draw us nearer to Itself, and into its world.

In this, we might come to see even our most “ordinary” or even difficult experiences as portals to the soul, invitations into wholeness, and into a life of deep creativity, meaning, and aliveness. 🌀

Our Story

Hi I’m Kim, yoga teacher, massage therapist, reiki practitioner, and mum. I believe that wellness and contentment (santosha) is found from within. That by connecting our mind to our body through breath, movement, meditation and relaxation, we can re-connect to our true nature and intuition. My intention is to guide you inwards, to help you create awareness and change, and enhance your daily life and state of well-being.

Based at Waihi Beach, I practice massage and Reiki from a cosy cabin in the garden surrounded by sounds of the ocean and birdsong. My yoga classes are held at the Katikati Community Centre, 45 Beach Rd, Katikati

I love the synergy of Yoga and Massage therapies, the power of breath and movement, and the way they can be utilised to release long held tension, emotions, fears and holding patterns of the body in a supported way. More recently I’ve been working with Reiki, and love the benefits that this subtle therapy can provide to my clients, creating a deeper level of healing. I enjoy working intuitively, and use high quality essential oils to enhance relaxation and healing. With over 17 years experience in private practice I treat a wide range of clients, including referrals from local G.P's, physiotherapists and osteopaths.

I also hold Women's Moon Circles in a beautiful yurt at Waihi Beach where women can connect and share in a supported space.
