By now you some of you will have received our newsletter outlining the recent changes to ADHD assessment requirements.
At this stage, we are unable to provide this service. This decision has been made based on several factors:

• Cost to patients – there is no additional funding available for this service, and the cost is significantly higher than a standard GP visit, falling directly to the patient

• Limited accessibility of appropriate assessment services

• Extended timeframes required for both assessments and followup reviews

• Availability and resourcing constraints – This is a specialised area and requires specialised training, assessment and management
We understand this may be disappointing, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding as we continue to focus on delivering essential primary care services to our community.
You are still welcome to discuss any questions with your GP or to explore referral options to another suitable provider.
