Kia Ora and Welcome! I am Saskia, a qualified Massage Therapist and Reiki Practitioner in Pegasus Hello and welcome to Healing Moon Haven!

A tranquil Haven of Healing and Serenity. My name is Saskia, I am a fully qualified Massage Therapist and Reiki Practitioner. I gained my diploma from the New Zealand College of Massage in 2020 and was initiated in the First Degree of Reiki in February 2023. I also have a degree in Biology having always been fascinated by how the body works. I offer professional massage and reiki services that aid in relieving pain, tension and stress. Whether you need relief from aches and pains, help on your road of healing from anxiety and other mental disorders, need some time to relax, or just want to pamper yourself please book in for a well-deserved break.

So as some of you know I developed a ganglion in my right wrist (yes, again! 🙄), thankfully I've been able to keep working with this one for the last few months, but having to be very careful with it.
Apologies for the short notice, I had to put off getting it sorted back in December as there was too much on, but the Radiologist finally called me today to organise a booking, and the only option was for this Thursday morning 😥 or to wait until next month (and that's waiting on a call again, they apparently don't do bookings in advance!)
Long story short, I've had to take the Thursday spot, which unfortunately means I'll be off work for about 10 days or until my wrist feels strong enough to massage again.
I'm so sorry to all the clients this will affect, I will be messaging you shortly to organise reschedules.

Several of you have expressed an interest in coming to watch the aerial showcase my kids and I will be performing in, so here are the details for it 🤩
My daughter will be performing a hoop solo, and my son will perform a little routine with another boy at the youth show at 2.
I will be performing a hoop solo in the adults show at 6 (it's going to be Lord of the Rings themed!)
And my daughter and I will be performing our duo routine at both shows!

As the weather warms up, school is back for Term 4 and the end of the year is fast approaching - I know it can suddenly feel like life gets very busy! 😵‍💫
But please don't forget to look after yourselves, carve out some time for you! 🎃 It'll feel much less stressful dealing with the busyness when coming at it with a more relaxed mind and body💆

Hello and Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas break 🎄

In the ever constant battle of trying to balance work and family life I've decided to trial a few changes to my opening hours.
● I will be working Wednesday evenings instead of Thursdays (please let me know if this really doesn't work for you though)
● Wednesday afternoons at 4pm will be available going forward (only for an hour appointment or less though), this is to make up for Wednesday mornings no longer being available (as that's when I have aerial silks lessons)
● Saturdays and Mondays will be open alternative weeks. This is so that every other weekend I have a Saturday off in order to have a full weekend with my family, and on weeks that I do work the Saturday, I have the subsequent Monday off so that I can have 2 consecutive days off every week
● I'm also debating starting at 9am or 9:30am on weekdays instead of 10am currently, would anyone be interested in that?

Please note that none of this changes any current bookings!
These changes will be slowly implemented around all pre-existing appointments 💜

Thank you so much for all of your continued support, I absolutely love being your massage therapist/Reiki practitioner and am looking forward to another amazing year with the best clients 🤗
