''A Beginners Guide to Homeopathy‘ course, lead by Sarah, was informative, thorough, engaging and easy to follow. I really enjoyed attending each week, meeting like-minded people and hearing success stories where homeopathic remedies were applied. The course has given me confidence to help myself and my family in times of need. I highly recommend Sarah, she is professional with a wealth of knowledge. This course is for anyone wishing to empower themselves with information around this fascinating subject for their own family’s health journey and/or to see if further study in homeopathy is for you.''

''… I will double down here on my praise for this book. I mentioned it to colleagues in my homeopathy mastermind, and we all got a copy so that we could work through the cases together. What a fantastic exercise.
It is one of our favorite ways to learn together, as it provokes discussion and deeper understanding of both the art of repertorization, and the materia medica! Thank you so much for sharing your work in the world. '' Chelsea Smock - homeopath

Practice makes perfect!
-
As a novice homeopath, I literally spent hours (if not days) searching out rubrics because I wanted to get better, faster and more accurate with my repertory work.

I knew the only way to become a successful homeopath was to practice: I had to get practicing as often as I could, everyday!

So, I searched out and am ever grateful to The amazing power of Homeopathy – a record of 201 difficult cases which kept me practicing everyday as I established myself as a homeopath.

Fifteen years’ of encouraging novice homeopath’s crossing my path to get practicing in any way they can led me to self-published a textbook One Hundred Practice Cases for Homeopaths – Solving for humans and animals.
-
-
One Hundred Practice Cases for Homeopaths offers succinct real-world adult, child, and animal scenarios to provide additional and practical experience in solving cases through rubric identification and selection, and materia medica study.

Homeopaths of varied experience and education tested these cases for solvability and alongside Dr. Frederik Schroyens, two highly respected teachers of homeopathy Patricia Hatherley and Dr. Seema Mahesh kindly provided reviews.
-
I have designed One Hundred Practice Cases for Homeopaths with you in mind, to fill-in during a pause in your real-life cases.
Studying and solving these as if they are your own will cement your already vast homeopathic knowledge through practicing.
-
The much-valued proceeds from book sales go towards my Masters of Applied Health Science intended aim of obtaining crucial contemporaneous data of CAM use within the New Zealand population - in time for the writing of the natural medicine bill beginning 2026. Wish me luck..!

And, I would so appreciate - if you are in a position to do so - sharing the existence of this textbook with colleagues, students, associates, faculty etc., as being one of the targets of googles 2017 ‘medic update’ (before shadow-banned was a word) I always struggle to get any words out there, any where! I am grateful to you for your support.

‘’ This book is a compilation of real-world cases that benefited from classical homeopathy. I personally learnt quite a few new rubrics and indicated remedies in them, even after 22 years of practice.
Sarah Penrose has presented the patient notes succinctly, distilling the essence of case taking to important points. She clarifies in the beginning that this is not to be an exercise in case taking and that not all cases here were ‘cured’ with the single remedies as presented here. This is important to note. The idea is to identify the totality and learn how to find rubrics from description by patients.
I know from personal experience that one of the main challenges for a beginner is translating patient language to rubrics. This book is an excellent guide in this direction. I hope homeopaths will make full use of this book and wish you all a great learning experience. ‘’

I am sure that working through these cases, which had real results via the similimum, will get you practicing.
-
And, I wish you every success in your work as a homeopath!

Weekly study groups! Being secure in the wisdom of a mostly female group - who have historically always been warriors for homeopathy - is a powerful way to build us up and strengthen our resolve as homeopaths!

The Chiron Courses wounded healer study groups start in March.

Just like homeopathy, Chiron can be ‘a seed that uses the power of something extremely small to bring about changes in the world around.' !

Our study groups are facilitated by me, Sarah Penrose. I have advanced training in homeopathy, considerable clinical experience gained over fifteen years and always provide transparency in my work - evidenced by several peer reviewed published case reports.

'' Heartbreakingly, I have seen many homeopaths become symbols of the archetype of Chiron - wounded healers.

I am often in contact (as homeopath, mentor & teacher) with a fair few of these wounded healers whom I’m always, always, wishing to, and trying to, encourage back into homeopathy practice after;

*Having dedicated years of their lives to the study of homeopathy

*Incurring significant investments of their precious time, money and energy

*Only to be let down when it comes to their own homeopathy practice

It sux! ''

So, let's synergize our energy and knowledge to enhance our work!

Feel free to make contact for more information and we'll make a time to chat.

I look forward to studying with you!

Kia ora,
Sarah Penrose
