The Hex dead lift vs the Barbell dead lift!🦵

👉The hex or trap bar dead lift allows for a more upright torso and increased knee bend. This reduces the load on the lower back muscles but increases the load on the quadriceps while still engaging the glutes.

👉The barbell dead lift places greater emphasis on the posterior chain such as the hamstrings, glutes, and lower back muscles resulting in less load on the quadriceps.

The barbell dead lift is technically challenging but the hex bar dead lift is often an easier way to start out if you haven't done any dead lifts before.
