This could be objective measures like this awesome ap or it could be via video analysis of movement. It doesn’t matter what you use it just matters that you use something. Otherwise you are just guessing and hoping.

Let’s talk Online Athlete Consults.
How can you work with me on the other side of the world?

Have you been trying to make a technique change but just can’t seem to make the change? Have you hit a plateau in speed or performance? Do you just need a new strategy to optimize performance because what you are doing isn’t working?

This type of service is designed to enable athletes to identify movement patterns that either create pain or recurrent niggles or hinder optimal performance.

The session usually begins with the athlete sending some video of them performing their sport as well as any relevant gym or movement videos for quick analysis of movement patterns.

An online session involves a range of exercises designed to clearly show movement patterns as well as highlight faults that can easily be seen on a pixilated screen on the other side of the world.
Strength tests to assess stabilizing and prime muscle moving strength then pairs with the movement patterns to give the athlete a clear picture of their movement strategy.

You leave the session with a clear plan of movement preparation exercises used as a warm up as well as movement cues to achieve any movement corrections needed to optimize performance.

It’s time to take responsibility for our bodies and the health and wellness of them.

What about the 24 hours a day all the other days you are not in the clinic being seen? What are you doing to help yourself? How are you being responsible for how you are moving?

This is the key ingredient to long term wellness and injury management, it’s your responsibility….
I am just a guide walking with you directing your way. My role is to teach you to know how to move well and take care of yourself. I am ultimately trying to make myself redundant.
