An update from Rayna, and invitation to the last Festival of the season (probably)
Hi team
I'm looking forward to being in service to new men arriving into the Essentially Men network, on the next Men Being Real 8 week Workshop MBR129 beginning on the weekend 7 to 9June 2024. ( www.essentiallymen.net/essentiallymenprogrammes )
Once a year I commit to being on the Essentially Men- Men Being Real Service Team and I'll also be facilitating the 6 week integration with Glenn, holding the men through the gentle process of integrating the changes and forming their own Mens Group to carry on the work together, indefinitely. (my own men's group formed after EM69 in 2009 and is still going strong, meeting fortnightly when we can, and it has changed my life, many times over, having this resource of great men to draw on and hold me accountable, honest and authentic to what's really real and important in my life, especially my emotional landscape and my capacity for love, in both directions.
About now I drop a post or two onto social media giving a glimpse of my journey with mens-work, the positive ripples, and invite others to shoulder tap a man toward this opportunity. It's a vote of confidence and a personal endorsement of EM (and other similar opportunities like MKP etc) in the public arena and it makes a difference. A BIG difference.
I'm happy to chat with anyone (Friends, Partners, Men, Youth) about my experience and hear where any man is at and see if this path may be something for you to explore.
Please feel free to share this personal invitation to korero with anyone you feel the call for deeper connection, meaning and purpose as a man or young man, in this wild changeable and at times disconnected world of ours.
This week I'm setting up the festival infrastructure and managing the stage, sound and light production at a stunning private 30-hectare site 20 min north of Whangarei for a new fitness / wellness / spirit / music festival that happens 26 to 28 April, called Infinite Festival-IF www.infinitefestival.co.nz
I'm hosting a JUCY Men's Wisdom Circle 4pm to 5.30pm Saturday 27Apr (see info below) and my band -Loveray- performs 11.30am to 1pm on Sun28th leading up to the closing ceremony at 3pm.
There is a Women's Circle on at the same time as mine. The weather looks settled and stable and the views on the site are stunning (360 degrees of Whangarei and Northland) and probably the last camping of the season will be fun (with a good warm sleeping bag)
I have a couple of places for a volunteer to assist me with the stage, sound and light (no experience necessary) joining our small friendly crew that includes myself and my son Jupiter (13). Love Sound and Light
On our community land in Kaipara ( see Tūmanako Hope and Ariki Estate ) we have made huge progress on our toilets / showers/ kitchens / and other infrastructure to support festivals and events large and small on our stunning 330 acre site. We host 2 major alcohol and drug-free, family friendly wellness festivals a year, Resolution Festival and NZ Spirit Festival North Island and the community has just been through an incredibly exciting and motivating Sustainable Communities (Thriving in Community) workshop together, with Robina and Charlie from the Tui Community, well established in Takaka, Golden Bay. www.tuitrust.org.nz
We have the foundations and infrastructure and community framework for how to work together to prosper and go next level.
We often hold open days, working bees and tree plantings and community workshops, so drop us a line if you would like to drop in and see what we are all about in person, and perhaps stay a night or two on our lush and colorful land.

Over winter I'm committed to finishing recording our -Loveray- album "Found in Space" and I'm blessed to have a purpose-built home studio in the house I rent. We end up performing at amazing festivals and events all year and it's a great bunch of people to hang out with and enjoy making music and art together.

As many of you know, I'm on the board of trustees at Essentially Men- Men Being Real, and with that 'hat' on I want to thank all the hard work and dedication and gifted service so many in this network offer, and have done year upon year, and to those new to the network, and extra warm welcome and looking forward to seeing more of all of you in person and online, as we recognise the value of community more and more as the world seems to get busier and arguably less deeply connected and at times remarkably less loving, despite all the advances in information sharing and communication technologies.

Respectfully guided discussions and simple ta***ic exercises that encourage curiosity and intimacy beyond the usual expectations of or**sm and ej*******on.
Together we build a safe space for discussing the keys that unlock more expansive, healing and satisfying s*xual relationships.
Climax Choice… what happens when climax is redefined and methods to explore greater choice are shared openly?
(Does not involve nudity or touch. Entry R16 due to the topic of s*x and s*xuality)
Rayna is committed to encouraging sharing on this topic from his own experiences in a deeply monogamous and satisfying relationship, knowing these are life changing practices that bring more peace, healing and deeper connection in our world.
Rayna is a life coach, yoga teacher, musician, artist and community entrepreneur. Together with his partner Sara, they travel NZ facilitating Climax Choice workshops at festivals and wellness events.
