April is Stress Awareness Month.

Something I notice again and again in my work is that many people don’t realise how stressed their nervous system actually is.

Not because they’re doing anything wrong…

But because the signs often look like things we’ve just learned to live with.

Being constantly busy.
Finding it hard to switch off.
Feeling tired but still wired.

Over time, those patterns can start to feel normal.

But our nervous systems were never designed to live in constant go-mode.

Sometimes the most powerful step isn’t doing more.

Sometimes it’s simply pausing.

One breath.
One small moment of stillness.
A gentle check-in with yourself.

Small pauses really can change everything.
