Auntie Lizzie is back 😄

After a very well-rested holiday, today came in hot. 🔥

Nine kids… eleven if you count Cyruz and Baylee, who were lovingly recruited for extra hands (and extra chaos control). Full house, full hearts 💕

I absolutely love seeing these young people come together in a space where they can just be themselves, catching up with friends, laughing loudly, and just enjoying each other’s company. 🤗

Cards were played. Lunch was eaten. Music was pumping. Arts and crafts got messy. Chocolate chip cookies were made & Games were played 🎮

Feeling excited for what 2026 is going to bring… but for now, grateful to have this space!! 🥰

Back on the 12th Jan, recharged, refreshed, and ready for another year of adventures!

Merry Christmas to all my amazing respite kids and their wonderful families/caregivers 🎄✨

Thank you for trusting me with your incredible humans this year. Your kids bring laughter, joy, chaos (the fun kind), and so much love into my world. I’m endlessly proud of every milestone, every brave moment, and every giggle we’ve shared.

Wishing you a Christmas filled with calm moments, happy hearts, full bellies, and maybe even a sleep-in (hey, Christmas miracles do happen). Here’s to a new year of growth, smiles, and plenty more memories together.

🍹 Aunty Lizzie’s back in action! 🍹

After an amazing holiday filled with sunshine, chaos, and one too many colourful cocktails (for research purposes, of course 😜), I’m back, recharged and ready to look after your little cherubs again! 💛

They say you can’t pour from an empty cup… well, mine’s been topped up with tropical vibes and a splash of laughter! 🌴✨

Bring on the giggles, crafts, cuddles and adventures, Aunty Lizzie’s ready to roll! 💪

🌴 Aunty Lizzie is officially on holiday! 🌴

Time to swap routines for relaxation, packed lunches for poolside snacks, and early alarms for absolutely nothing. 😎

I’m recharging the batteries, soaking up some sunshine, and making memories with some of my favourite people! 🥰

Grateful for the little humans, big humans, big hearts, and busy hands that make my world so full… but right now, Aunty’s off-duty, soaking up sun, smiles, and family time. ❤️

After a wild few months of respite care, platters, life and a whole lotta love — it’s time to refill my cup (and maybe a few glasses too 😉).

2 years ago today I stepped away from a Job of 12 years, a job that I loved, work colleges that had become beautiful friends over the years and so many families that I had connected with but knew it was time for Change 🥰

It was scary, but I knew in my heart ❤️ my mind 🧠 & in my Puku that this was about following my dream to becoming the CEO not only of my life but of my own little business 👩‍💼

Aunty Lizzie’s Respite was born, and I couldn’t be happier, our house is always full of laughter, fun, lots of energy, activities, adventures, early mornings 😜 so much more 🤪

28 beautiful kids/young people age range from 5 years old to 30!! Have become part of our extended family and bring us so much joy!! 🤩

Couldn’t do it with the on going support of my right hand partner in crime , forever greatful for him saying yes and supporting my crazy idea that he really had no idea what he was getting himself into 😜

Massive thanks to All the Families/Caregivers that trust us with their Babies 👶🏻 ❤️💙

Current Vibe: Working on getting the life that I once promised myself 😊
