Today we salute the courageous men and women who served, as well as those who stood beside them. Anzac Day also celebrates the millions of heroic animals (horses, donkeys, mules, camels, dogs, pigeons, and cats) that served, suffered, and died alongside soldiers in war. These animals demonstrated remarkable bravery as transport, messengers, detection, and loyal companions, often in the most treacherous frontline conditions. The Purple Poppy is worn to commemorate their extraordinary service.

National Pet Day may as well take place every day for most pet owners. After all, we all recognize the love and joy that animals bring to our lives, and we make sure to let our pets know how much they mean to us. From cats and bunnies to chickens and dogs; no matter what pets you have in your home, National Pet Day gives you the perfect opportunity to hug your pet more and let him or her know how much they brighten up your life. For most people, a pet is the best friend they will ever have! At the end of the day, you’re never going to find someone more loyal than a pet, right?

To my beautiful Teddy Bear
Losing a best friend breaks your heart.
But sometimes the otherside needs them more than we do. They have done there job here. They have filled our hearts with love and been there through all of lives ups and downs.
They will be up there telling everyone about their best friend and the amazing life they had.
Even though they are gone. They are with us in our journey. It's not a goodbye it's a I'll see you again. Because when our time on earth is done they will be waiting to snuggle up again and tell you all about what they have done while waiting.
