Woven Womb

Woven Womb Sling and Carrier Consultant in Invercargill, New Zealand. I did my first lot of training with Slingababy, as a peer supporter in September 2016. xx

About Me:
I am a stay at home Mum to 3 gorgeous children, from 13years to 6years, and wife to a supportive husband. I started Woven Womb to share my passion, but far more importantly, to help other families find what works for them, and to save them time and frustration. Training/Experience
I have carried all my children to some degree, however it was during my pregnancy with our 3rd child, that I knew I would need the help of carriers to get through day to day life with 2 older children and a shift working husband. I joined the then Babywearing Southland (now Invercargill Babywearing Community) and started volunteering at meets, and then on committee also. This was the place that really introduced me to the many different styles of carrying, and opened my eyes to the many possibilities. I now co lead this volunteer community support group and love helping enable families to share the experience. I was then blessed with the opportunity to do the inaugural Slingababy NZ Consultant Training Course, in April 2017. I completed my Slingababy NZ certificate in March 2018, becoming the 1st NZ fully trained babywearing consultant (and did a happy dance, I had completed something woohoo!). Finally, many thanks to all the amazing and wonderful people who have, and who do, provide me with the love and support I need, the road worth traveling is never easy.

So exciting, Babywearing support starting up down here again!! It's been a long two years. Tam is wonderful, she'd love to see you, experienced, new, questions or knowledge. All welcome

Our first meet back is THIS Friday 10am at the Invercargill Library, and we have THREE new carriers that will be available to try and hire!
Dunc and I have been testing them out. This one is the Carifit. We've also got a Boba Bliss and X new to us.

Let me know if there's anything you want to try.

This has been a while coming, Woven Womb is CLOSED.
I don't know if it's for now, or forever, but I've started an exciting new study course and my time is fully occupied between my family and study.
I'll keep an eye on any messages etc and try to reply within a couple of days and direct to others where I can't help.

On a related note.
Do you, or someone you know, want a business that's all set up and has great growth potential? Pop me a DM for details.

Panel height: 34/43cm
Panel width: 13-38cm
Carrying positions: Front parent facing, world facing and back carrying
Waistbelt: 69-145cm

I'm asking $50, but if you'd like to make an offer, please pop me a message.

We live in Southland and you never know what the weather is going to do! This is such a simple hack for keeping your little one (and you), a bit warmer when a polar blast comes in. Pop on warm hat and bub will be much warmer.

Thank you for sharing another photo with us (sometimes I remember to take all the photos, sometimes I completely forget 😬).
