My Name is Mollie, I am a qualified Sports Therapist having completed a Degree in Sports Therapy and Injury Rehabilitation at Plymouth University. Working day to day in the clinic treating clients I work with local clubs, helping with pitch side first aid on match days and working with players to prevent and treat injuries on training nights.

Working alongside some amazing therapists at Wanaka Sports Massage and being able to swap treatments is such a bonus - the last two months have been pretty mental with lots of job changes but hopefully now working at Wanaka Sports Massage will be me for the foreseeable 🤞🏻✨

Life update ✨
I'm thrilled to announce that I'm massaging again at the fantastic clinic in Wanaka! It's surreal to think I left the UK over a year and a half ago without a plan, just seeing where life takes me and here I am ready for the next adventure and to see what winter will bring! ⛷️🏂💆🏼‍♀️✨

Update 🇳🇿

It’s been nearly 2 months since leaving the country and taking a massive step into a new life! I just wanted to come on and post a little update so that all you lovely people know that I’m still alive and haven’t done anything completely stupid yet 😂

I’m definitely missing work but not missing the cold English weather! I hope you are all keeping with your treatments and looking after yourself in these cold winter months!

Just a reminder that if you are struggling for childcare for your appointment we are happy for you to bring the kids along and will always encourage you to come in for your treatment regardless of if you can’t get childcare as we understand the importance of looking after yourself!

Jodi has been getting ultrasound therapy on her knee to help it recover from a ski injury and has found the treatments invaluable.

I’ve only got 6 weeks now until I’m off to New Zealand but have an amazing therapist taking my place when I leave that does everything I do so you will be in great hands 🙌🏻

🌟 Here’s a fabulous Ultrasound Therapy Review from our client Rebecca, who’s been seeing practitioners Lisa & Mollie: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

“I have tried for years to alleviate the pain in my head, neck and shoulders.

Chiropractors, Osteopaths, massages, acupuncture, CT scans, Neurologist. You name it!

Nothing worked, gave me some small relief, but then the pain came back. I had resigned myself to just living with it.

I then found Bideford Therapies and starting going there for massages as I had been told my pain was muscular skeletal and not bone or any other concerns.

I started having massages, which could leave me achy, and then found out about Ultrasound Therapy.
I was very sceptical at first, as I have lived with this pain for so long.

It was very light, with no pain, and felt relaxing and warming. Like a warm fingertip just brushing over your skin. The pain does return after a while, but I have had some pain free days. I do not now need to take a cocktail of painkillers before I go to bed.

So, although I still have the pain, I feel that it is improving and as I have been like this for so long, I feel it will take a while.

I am definitely improving slowly and enjoy my time having the ultrasound therapy. I intend to carry on with it until I no longer need it”

Snippet of barleys day, here’s one of my lovely regulars enjoying her treatment whilst barley relaxes underneath the table getting belly rubs 🐶

Jo receives treatment on her shoulders neck head and face to help with her migraines this includes a combination of massage and ultrasound to help release the tension that contributes to the migraines!

After a month of ultrasound at the base of her skull and neck Jo is now in a lot less pain and can cope with her migraines a lot better which is fab 👏
