Fasting can be a helpful tool in some situations, but it’s not the magic fix it’s often made out to be.
I’m all for a 12 hour overnight fast, that’s perfect for most people to support digestion and blood sugar, it’s the prolonged fasting I’m honing in on here.
But it gave you energy? Yep that’s cortisol.
Fasting isn’t a wellness trend that works for everyone, especially if you’re navigating hormone concerns, high stress or struggling with low energy.
