The Scorpions Women's team returned over the weekend, competing at the Pacific Series in Christchurch. The team showed impressive growth over the two days, picked up a win against Kuki XIII, scored some outstanding team tries, and most importantly had plenty of fun!

A special thanks go to the management group—David Reedy, Jess Hannah-Brennan, Jason Clarke, and Kara Moroney—for their support and leadership!

With a solid foundation now in place, we are excited to build on this momentum heading into 2025 🦂

Dancing with the Locals.

Myself and my dance partner Gwen are hitting the stage and dancing to raise money for the mental health fund as part of the Holy Family School fundraiser.

For dancing, we get to donate $1000 towards the charity plus on the night the audience can vote for their favourite duo (us of course 😉) who will get another $250 towards their charity (and bragging rights!)

Each couple learns 2 dances from ballet, contemporary, salsa, and hip hop and then we choreograph our own dance as the third.

None of us are actual real life dancers!! 😅, though I might have a little bit of some salsa skills hidden away somewhere and definitely none of us have choreography skills! So this should be quite entertaining 👌🏼

Gwen and I have been working hard to practice and learn these dances so your support is greatly appreciated!!

Reflecting back on an epic Saturday night with the best crew
“Night at the Races” Charity Event

All funds that were raised went towards mental health support element of the Community Networks / LINK Community Support Fund which subsidises the cost of counselling for individuals and families in the Upper Clutha
