This lovely patient wanted a natural enhancement — nothing overdone, just a bit more shape and definition while keeping the lips looking like hers.

I chose a soft, flexible filler that integrates beautifully with the tissue and moves naturally with facial expression. This allows for a result that feels as good as it looks — no stiffness, no heaviness, and no “done” appearance.

Personally, I love creating natural lips that enhance rather than change your features. It’s all about respecting your unique anatomy and using the right product and technique to bring subtle balance and hydration.

💉 What is dermal filler, and how is it different from anti-wrinkle treatments?

Dermal fillers are injectable gels, most commonly made from hyaluronic acid — a substance naturally found in the body. They are used to restore lost volume, enhance facial contours, and soften static lines and folds, particularly in areas like the cheeks, jawline, lips, and nasolabial folds.

One of the most common misconceptions I hear is that fillers and anti-wrinkle treatments are the same thing. While both are injectables, they work very differently:

👉🏼 Dermal fillers add volume and structure.
👉🏼Anti-wrinkle injections work by temporarily relaxing the muscles that cause expression lines (such as frown lines or crow’s feet).

In clinic, I always take a tailored approach - no two faces are the same 🤍 A thorough consultation allows me to assess skin quality, facial anatomy, and muscle movement before recommending the most appropriate treatment.

The goal is never to change your face - just to subtly restore balance and create a refreshed, natural look 🪞
