This group is for high-performing women who want to get a hold of their health so that their career and family life can flourish. I support high-performing women to release weight and reclaim their energy by balancing their hormones through personalised nutrition, so that they can feel their best in their life and career. A client once said to me...

“I don’t get it. I’m eating better than ever. I'm exercising. I’m doing everything right. But my midsection weight just won’t shift.”

She wasn’t lazy.
She wasn’t inconsistent.
She wasn’t following the fads.

She was stressed.
Overloaded.
Running on empty.

It's not all about willpower.
Let's stop the cycle of feeling S #!t about yourself because your internal voice keeps telling you that 'you have no willpower', particularly after a 3pm crash of reaching for a coffee and a muffin.

It has nothing to do with willpower, and everything to do with biological processes happening internally.
That doesn't mean that we can't shift the cycle.

We can! But first we have to own the following:

👉Your Hormones have shifted
👉Your Stress load has changed
👍Your body has different needs now

What may have worked in your 30's to lose weight likely won't work in your 40's and beyond....because that plan is outdated for what your body requires on a biological level right now.

Between running a business, supporting clients, and spending hours in front of screens, it becomes easy to have more sedentary days than days with movement if I dont focus on the things that allow me to feel like me... But movement, play and focused nutrition are essential for staying strong, energised, and feeling like me.

For me, play looks like meal prep days based on my nutritional needs, taking my German Wirehaired Pointer for a walk or strength training. It’s my reset button, helping me to shake off stress, boost my energy, and keep my body working for me, not against me. I know first-hand how my body feels when it feels like its working against me.

For women over 40, this should be a non-negotiable. Sitting (and snacking)for hours slows your metabolism which leads to stubborn weight gain (hello, midsection!), and messes with your hormones.

I'm all for pre-empting healthy ageing.
Across the lifespan, particularly from our 40's onwards, we are naturally prone to weight gain and muscle loss with a sedentary lifestyle, which impacts not only your midsection, but your vital organs too whilst contributing to insulin resistance ie diabetes, high blood pressure, fatigue, eyesight changes, appetite changes, etc.

𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙞-𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩?

As a natural practitioner focusing on midlife wellness for women over 40, I've encountered numerous approaches, products, and philosophies aimed at improving women's health and well-being.
However, there's one (of many) pervasive villains in the health & wellness industry that I believe does more harm than good: that villain is the "Anti-Aging" movement.

The anti-aging industry is valued at billions of dollars, and it sadly continues to prey on our internal insecurities about getting older. It promotes the idea that ageing is something to be feared and "cured".
There is continued growth in products & marketing for quick-fix 'miracle' products to reverse ageing. I see it a lot where my new clients show me all the supplements that they are on, together with 'magic' serums and vitamin 'cocktails'. We come from that generation of having a dedicated supplement drawer with half-filled bottles of tried and tested 'solutions'. I was the same.
This quick-fix ideal diverts our time, money, and energy from genuinely beneficial wellness practices best suited for this beautiful time of womanhood.

We are also thrown with so much information to look younger by using extreme diets & exercise regimes. It's not surprising we feel overwhelmed and frustrated in our 40s.

In my opinion, the anti-ageing movement is promoting unattainable goals, which is feeding into our frustration & low self-esteem. When we buy into anti-ageing, it may override many benefits of ageing, such as the wisdom, confidence & self-awareness we acquire with age. These are all qualities that should be embraced beyond 40, and they can benefit both our personal and professional lives.

At Ceres Organics we believe in your freedom to choose what food you eat.

Foods Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ) is meeting on the 10th September to discuss proposed changes to how genetically modified foods (GMO) are defined and labelled in the Australian and New Zealand Food Standards Code (the Code).

They want to take the freedom of choice away from us, by allowing food modified by new GMO techniques to enter our food systems without requiring labelling to identify it.

At Ceres Organics we believe GMO is GMO, and we believe our food should be labelled so we can choose what we eat!

To help achieve our goal to ensure gene edited (GMO) food is labelled we encourage you to make a submission to FSANZ.

Did you know not all fats are created equal?

Many of my clients use Ghee, depending on their circumstances. It becomes their gut’s new best friend!

Clarified butter, also known as Ghee, is packed with butyric acid, which can reduce inflammation and support a healthy gut lining.

For those of us over 40 , looking to target our waistline so that our clothes feel more comfortable, a happy gut is key! Plus, it is great for overall wellness.

Try swapping your regular cooking oil for ghee. Your taste buds (and your gut) will thank you!

Do you use Ghee? What's your favourite way to use it?
My favourite way is to add it to my steamed vegetables, with a sprinkle of herb salt just before serving. 🤤
