Thrilled to share that I’ll be continuing with The Athlete’s Foot as an ambassador for another year. I’m grateful for their ongoing support, not only for me, but for the Zone Blue community and the opportunities they create for runners to experience great footwear.

Looking forward to another year of honest reviews, learning, and growing together. Onwards to 2026.

My best running shoes of 2025:

Everyday cushion: Nike Vomero Plus
Soft, stable, super comfortable for those longer daily miles.

Best everyday trainer: Adizero Evo SL
Light on foot, responsive, easy to pick up the pace when you need it.

Best all-rounder: ASICS Superblast 2
Great for easy runs, tempos, and long days. Fast but still protective.

Favorite race shoe: Hoka Cielo 1.2
Carbon pop, smooth ride, and feels fast from start to finish.

Huge thank you to The Athlete’s Foot for the support and the chance to test these out. Plenty more reviews and miles coming in 2026.

Queenstown Recap.

Here’s a quick recap of an amazing weekend. I had the privilege of running the Queenstown Marathon as part of the Athlete’s Foot family, and being an ambassador made the whole experience even more special.

The shoe of choice was the ASICS Superblast 2. A fantastic option for a course with everything thrown at you: uneven terrain, trail, road, sand, grass, hills, descents, and every gradient you can think of. Light, responsive, and handled it all like a Swiss Army knife. If you’re thinking about doing this race, I’d highly recommend a shoe that can adapt to all surfaces.

Feeling blessed and grateful. Massive thank you to The Athlete’s Foot for having me and allowing me to be part of such a special occasion.

Yesterday, at 40 years old, I ran my first World Major Marathon in support of men’s health. It wasn’t the smoothest run—my foot was sore, energy wasn’t 100%, but that’s life, isn’t it? Obstacles will always show up. The key is to persevere, to keep pushing, to keep moving forward.

Crossing that finish line reminded me why running connects with so many of us, it’s not just about times or medals. It’s about resilience. About showing up even when it’s hard. About proving to yourself that you can go further than you thought.

We raised funds that will go toward changing the face of men’s health, and that’s what I’m most proud of. On a personal note, I managed a PB, not the one I wanted, but a step forward nonetheless. Progress is progress.

To everyone who supported me. Zone Blue, Dalman physio, The Athlete’s Foot, Lululemon, Movember, Elyte, I Love Ugly, and to every person who cheered me on: thank you. This wouldn’t have been possible without you.

Rest now, then on to the next challenge. Because in running, as in life, the journey never stops.

I am so grateful to still be part of the .nz whānau 🖤 .

The Auckland ambassador trip was unreal, connecting with legends in the community, catching up with friends, and seeing the official 2025 NZ report drop was a massive step forward for men’s health.

I am feeling inspired and ready to keep pushing this cause. This movement has redirected my purpose and allowed me to do things I could only dream of.

The mission remains: changing the face of men's health.

11 weeks. One cause.
A marathon for the men we miss,
For the stories we carry,
And the future we change.

Running for something bigger 🙏🏾

Since I got into running, I’ve always dreamed of doing a World Marathon Major — and now I finally get to do it. I’ll be running the Sydney Marathon with Team Movember, raising money for men’s health.

This cause has meant everything to me since 2012 — the year I lost my dad at just 53. That loss changed my life and sparked my mission to help men live longer, healthier lives. Mental health, su***de prevention, cancer awareness — it’s all part of the work Movember does.

To run this race, I need to fundraise as part of my entry. If you can, please donate or share the link. You won’t just be helping me get to the start line — you’ll be supporting the health and future of so many men who need it.

Let’s make this run count 🖤

Helping others realise their running potential brings me more joy than chasing my own goals.

It’s why I became a coach.
Yeah, I love running — but seeing someone break through mental blocks, run further than they ever thought possible, or simply fall in love with movement… that hits different.

This isn’t just coaching. It’s connection, belief, and purpose.
I am grateful every day to be part of people’s journeys.

Client Spotlight

Massive shoutout to my client Damien Wetta, who just took on the UTMB Australia—not the 50km he originally signed up for, but the full 100km beast with over 4,500m of elevation gain. Finishing time 25 hours 11 minutes and 23 seconds 😲😲

He showed up to support his best mate, then decided to run the whole damn thing—no excuses, just heart.

Damien, you are a machine. Proud coach moment right here.

Beyond stoked to officially announce that I’m now an ambassador for The Athlete’s Foot!

I am grateful to be working with a brand that truly supports me and my crew Zone Blue. From backing events we've been a part of, to helping me prep for my recent 100km ultra—these legends have been there every step (literally).

Not to mention… they fully enable my running shoe addiction, haha 😄🤣

Massive thanks to The Athlete’s Foot for the opportunity. Can’t wait to show you some of the epic projects we’ve got coming up!

Let’s go! 🙌🏽🙏🏾
