the ego makes meaning of a personal self with its projections and preferences but the soul knows.

the souls knows a different experience, one that is simaltaneously unfolding whilst your ego is busy making plans.

to cultivate listening, to be in the listening field will cut short this drama. it will save you a lot of breath in the long run.

once you realise you cannot step one foot outside of the circle, grace has been bestowed.

for, to make any movement outside of the path that is given is to believe yourself small.

in silence the soul is given room to breathe, speak. it's language symbolic, spiralic, familiar only you have forgotten how to listen and interpret, at least that is what you tell yourself.

your mind is akin to a radio station, your soul the tuning dial. this is to say your mind will broadcast whatever frequency it can most readily perceive.

the soul, however, has greater bandwidth, it asks that you spend time exploring the tunings that are available to you not to assume the one you hear the loudest is who you are.

silence offers reprieve for the weary, overwhelmed traveller who is exhausted from the noise being broadcast. silence highlights where and how you have become accustomed to such noise.

take a breath, let your inhale momentarily interrupt the incessant mind stream. let your exhale rid you of the noise.

remain silent, soften until you can see you are the tuner not the tuned.
