Next Free Hug Event 26 July 2020 Auckland and Wellington
We are a group of volunteers who offer free hugs to people in Wellington and Auckland at our incredible Hug events. Anyone can come up to us during the event who would like a loving and meaningful hug.
There are a large number of people who would enjoy and benefit from a strong hug. These events are to bring awareness and to reduce community isolation and improve the emotional and mental health of all who embrace them.
This programme may be rolled out into other cities in the future. If you are interested in running one outside of Auckland and Wellington let me know and I will do what I can to support you and to help you set it up.
Wellington Free Hug events are held by the Sunday Harbourside Markets on the Wellington waterfront near the Solace in the Wind / Naked Man Statue.
