Vaccination is free for those aged 65 and over and people with certain medical conditions.

Waitangi Day - February 6th, Karori Medical Centre will be closed.
Patients can access a virtual medical appoinment via Practice Plus or at Wellington After Hours Medical Centre, who are open for walk in appointments 8am-9pm.

KMC will be closed Monday January 20th for Wellington Anniversary Day.
Patients can access medical care either in person at Wellington Afterhours Medical Centre in Adelaide Road or online via practiceplus.co.nz

We are closed December 25th and 26th along with January 1st and 2nd. Outside of these days we are open our usual hours.

If you need medical care on the days we are closed, Wellington Afterhours Medical Centre is open for walk-in appointments and KMC patients can access virtual appoinments at www.practiceplus.co.nz

If you need repeat prescriptions to ensure you have enough medication for the holidays, then request this via your Manage My Health Portal or by calling our scriptline. Please do this by Friday December 20th so we can complete your request.

NZ is now experiencing a Whooping Cough epidemic. If you are unvaccinated or unsure when you last received a Boostrix vaccine please check your records on Manage My Health or call and speak to us. Vaccination against Whooping Cough is free for under 18s, Pregnant people and some people aged 45 and over.

Practice Plus is available 8am to 8pm for virtual consultations.

Welllington After Hours Medical Centre in Adelaide Road, Mount Cook is open 8am-9pm for walk-in appointments.

KMC will be open from 8am on Tuesday October 29th.

We are taking bookings for flu vaccinations starting from April 2nd.
The flu vaccine is free for people at higher risk of getting very sick from flu.
We also have flu vaccination appointments avaliable on Saturday April 6th and 13th for those that cannot make a weekday appoinment.
Speak with us if you have questions about whether you are eligible for a free flu vaccine.

For those not eligible for a free vaccine, the cost is $40. If aged over 65 and wanting the unfunded FLUAD QUAD vaccine, the cost is $60.
