🌿 Kaitiakitanga 🌿

My sister, my sister from another mother, and my mum – last weekend we received tā moko to represent the journey we’ve shared together. After Mum’s stroke in February, these past 7 months have been a rollercoaster — moments that have brought us closer and, at times, pulled us apart.

The tūī in my moko represents Mum, and the moko is a reminder that I am her kaitiaki. Every day is different, but we are still here — living, moving forward, and carrying her with us always. 💛✨

🌹 Come celebrate our SEPTEMBER SPRING market back at Wellington Waterfront at Te Wharewaka o Poneke with Manuhiri Healing - Rooted in whakapapa (genealogy) and crafted with aroha (love) by a mother and daughter team, our remedies are sourced from locally grown rau (ingredients). We create Māori Rongoā which are plant based such as; Creams, oils, tinctures, bath salts. Artisan Craft Market (Wellington 21/09/25)
