Isn't it a gorgeous day for a bike ride. Cycling is, for me, an activity that fulfills 3 of the 4 Pillars in the Blaze Method.
InMotion is the obvious one- out using my body, challenging my muscles and cardiovascular fitness, and using hills for HIIT to help regulate cortisol levels.
I'm also filling my Joy&Connection Pillar - out with my husband to begin with, sharing an activity we both love, enjoying a slower pace in nature, and with the repetitive motion from pedalling, helps to upreguate alpha & theta brainwaves for more relaxation. I'm helping Slumber by getting sun in my eyes whilst it's lower on the horizon, albeit with sunnies when I'm cycling directly East.
And I've finished with a cheeky coffee , more than 90mins after waking up time, in the hot tub. I'm not in this pic, as my togs were wet from last night & there's no need to share all!!!
