WARNING. LANGUAGE.
Hear it from someone that has a bigger voice than we do. This is NOT political as it won't matter who is in the seat. This is about making a difference. We can't say we will do something and sit back and watch. We shouldn't be burying our kids. We shouldn't have to fight for help. We shouldn't have to wait until su***de has been attempted. And we sure as hell shouldn't have to beg for funding to save at least one life. When we lose someone to su***de it is the family/whanau that suffer for the rest of their lives. The friends. The colleagues. The teachers. The entire community is effected. Everybody left wondering if there was something they could have done. I hate to say it but it comes down to money and it is bu****it that it has to. We spend thousands every week doing what we can and we honestly go without a lot to try and do what we can. I can't think of the big picture of how many need help and I hate that I have to say that if I can save just one family from a life of hell then I have helped. But that is the reality. Please watch Mike King and the Morning Rumble in the rawest state that you will see. We need to make a difference. The sad side of our communities that some people never witness or hear about. This could be your neighbour, your child's friend, a family member or even someone in your household. Are you able to help a young person?

Hello everyone. Firstly I can't believe we are just one week away from term 1 of school and our holiday programme is finishing. I honestly couldn't be more proud of how it has been organised, attended and manned by some amazing people. Permanent staff, temporary staff, parents, guardians and kids, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and hope you enjoyed it as much as we did.
With the beginning of the new school term we will be back to running the Animal and Equine - Assisited Therapy and Learning programme. We have been running this for a few years now and the results have been overwhelmingly successful but we want to help more! There are so many kids out there that need our support with mental health, learning and finding their way in society however if they don't tick all the right boxes they don't have and organisation to fund them.
This is where you come in. We are wanting contacts to businesses, iwi, organisations and anyone that may want and have the means to sponsor a child in our programme. If you have a contact please let us know and we will make contact with them directly. Let's see how many kids and young people we can help to feel important and see a future for themselves.
