Oooooooh and we got a brand new haul of teen/older boys (or girls) Minecraft and Sonic tees today ready to be zipped and make their way to our little online shop 😍

We look forward to sharing the progress of this little project with you all and thank you for your donations to make this possible by up-cycling donated clothing.

This project is one that is very close to my heart and one of our seamstresses as well, as we both have medical kids. My son was diagnosed at 3 with ALL - Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia and went through chemotherapy for 2.5 years. These zipper shirts would make the biggest difference to the kids who have portocaths that get accessed often and they are required to take off their tees / tops in order for nursing staff to disinfect the port and surrounding area VERY well as any infection can be fatal.

These tees and dresses will also make going to clinic less stressful and will allow the kids to be their best selves, whether Spiderman is swooping in to save the day or a Princess is hosting a teddy bear picnic 🥰 some as small as a zipper can make a huge impact on the mental health and well-being of our precious children and that of the whanau too.

We look forward to inviting parents and caregivers to send in some beautiful images of their superheroes and princesses as they tackle each day one dose at a time 🎗️🧡💕
