This morning, I faced that familiar struggle. I love swimming, but I lacked motivation. So, I set a soft goal: just 10 minutes of easy swimming. ๐Ÿ•’๐Ÿ’ฆ To keep myself accountable, I turned on my phone to track my progress. And guess what? Once I hit the water, I ended up swimming longer and even practised some squad drills!

As someone who grew up pushing through life with a congenital heart condition, I totally get it. The fear of missing out often drove me to overexert myself, but now at 50, Iโ€™m learning a vital lesson: rest is just as important as exercise! ๐Ÿ’ชโœจ

I showed up to swim squad today and only managed half the session. And you know what? Thatโ€™s perfectly okay! Progress isnโ€™t always about intensity; sometimes, itโ€™s simply about consistency. ๐ŸŠโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Remember, each small step counts. Keep showing up for yourself, and improvement will follow, even if it feels slower than youโ€™d like.
