We're honouring Inka, a very integral part of the 4 Paws family who crossed the rainbow bridge this month. Inka was one of the models for my Canine Massage workshops, her patience, placid- gentle nature & willingness to be motivated by snacks made her the ideal Doggo for the position.... in appreciation of making my job easier! It was an absolute honour & blessing to have been able to offer treatment to her in her final year of life. She was extremely loved by her Mum & Dad- my thoughts are with them both🫂 💕💫🌈

MISSING: “Thirteen” from Island Bay

Please be on the lookout for a young cat called Thirteen, who is missing after her family’s house burned down last Monday (3 November). She is believed to have bolted from her home during the blaze, and her family desperately want to find her. While they were able to escape the house with their dog, they’re devastated that they weren’t able to catch Thirteen before she ran away.

If you live in southern Island Bay around the Oku Street Reserve, please can you check your gardens, shed, under the house, etc in case Thirteen is hiding there. She is a young cat, and very shy of strangers. If you think you’ve seen her, please don’t approach – just call her family on 027 518 2476 or their neighbour on 027 677 0868.
