The WFSA - World Federation Of Societies of Anaesthesiologists Annual Theme 2026 - Anaesthesiology along the Patient Pathway - will highlight the multiple roles anaesthetists play across the entire patient pathway. The nitrous oxide leaking from reticulated systems in our hospitals is a significant contributor to the carbon footprint of our healthcare system. Anaesthetists across the motu are taking the lead in decommissioning these systems and transitioning to point of care.
