Top tip: Psychology is about skill building.
In our daily grind of family and work life, our brains can take a deficits focus, which sounds like "Bu**er, I haven't got through my to do list," leaving us feeling 😕
Why not try developing a strengths focus. Have a look at what you have already accomplished in the day, and build on that; even pat yourself on the back. This is likely to leave you feeling more encouraged, and uplifted.
