Small daily habits can make a big difference for your bladder and bowel.

This week is Nutrition & Hydration Week (16–22 March), and it’s a good reminder that what we eat and drink matters.

Healthy habits that help:
💧 Drinking enough fluids
🥦 Getting enough fibre
🚶‍♀️ Regular meals and movement

Trying to drink less to avoid the toilet can actually make bladder and bowel symptoms worse.

Looking after your bladder and bowel starts with looking after your whole body 💛

Living with incontinence can be isolating, especially when it’s something people feel unable to talk about.

In Episode 2 of The Pelvic Pod, Emma shares her personal story of living with incontinence for over 20 years. She speaks openly and honestly about the challenges, stigma, and impact on daily life, as well as the importance of being heard, supported, and understood.

We were first honoured to share Emma’s story back in 2019, and it’s incredibly powerful to reflect on her journey again today.

A heartfelt thank you to Emma for her courage, honesty, and willingness to share her story.
