🚨 Measles update for Wellington community 🚨
Health NZ has confirmed a fourth case of measles in Wellington, and they believe it may now be circulating in the community.
πŸ‘‰ What you can do:
βœ… Check your MMR vaccination – 2 doses give strong protection
βœ… Watch for symptoms: fever, cough, runny nose, sore/red eyes, and a rash starting on the face
βœ… If you feel unwell, stay home and call your GP or Healthline first
πŸ’‰ Good news: The MMR vaccine is currently free for everyone aged 12+ in the greater Wellington region during this outbreak.

πŸ“ Please also check locations of interest regularly and follow guidance if you’ve been exposed.
Let’s look after ourselves and each other – vaccination is the best protection ❀️
