Merry Christmas everyone from the team at Miramar Physio!
Our clinic will be closed from 4pm Friday 23rd December to give our staff a much-needed break. We will be back on deck at 8am Monday 9th January to take care of any of those holiday injuries! Take care and keep safe. Best wishes for a happy and healthy 2023!.

Happy New Year Everyone! Our clinic is closed until 10 January 2022 so that all of our staff can have a lovely break. Make sure that you all take care while we are away so that you do not require our services for a couple of weeks!😊

Well, what a year that was! Almost there everyone - hang in there. Hopefully, soon we'll be lying in the sun enjoying our beautiful Covid free country.
Just to let you know, we are open right up until Christmas Eve but will be closed from the 25th December to 5th January, so try and keep yourself safe during that time.
We hope you all have a very Happy Christmas and best wishes for 2021 - let's hope it runs a little smoother than 2020!

From Thursday 14 May, our doors are open for clinic-based treatment again.

We have the following protocols in place for Alert Level 2 to ensure your safety:

Verbal screening for Covid-19 symptoms for all patients prior to appointments
Hand sanitiser at door, in reception and in treatment rooms
Physical distancing measures in reception, waiting area and treatment rooms
Thorough cleaning of all surfaces in reception and treatment rooms between patients
Medical grade paper covering treatment beds and pillows - replaced after each patient
Physiotherapists will use masks and gloves when in close proximity
Towels and pillowcases changed and washed after each patient
Contact details and appointment times are recorded to meet contact tracing requirements

During this time we are not permitted to take walk-in appointments so please ring reception on (04) 3887129 to book your appointment.

Telehealth appointments are still available for those of you who would prefer or require contact-less appointments.

If you are under financial hardship, we completely understand. Please talk to our receptionists or your Physiotherapist and we will find a way to make treatment achievable for you.

We look forward to providing Physiotherapy treatment for you and your family as the need arises.

We hope that you are all safe and well in your bubbles as we move into Level 3 next Tuesday.
What does Level 3 mean for Miramar Physio?
It means our clinic will be staffed again between the hours of 9am and 5pm. Our receptionists will be awaiting your call if you need our help.
We will still be conducting most of our appointments by Telehealth, but are able to provide urgent care appointments in the clinic if your injury meets certain criteria.
Please give us a ring or send us an email for us to determine the best way to manage your injury.
We will be following strict Ministry of Health guidelines to keep you safe while we manage your injury.
