At our recent community clinic day in Glenside, Wellington (and our last one for the year!) we treated around 70 people, for many of whom it was their first-ever experience of mirimiri and romiromi. Listening to the feedback, witnessing the release of pain and stress and personal transformations from those who attended, was incredible. Afterwards people struggled to articulate their experience - "it's difficult to find the right words to do this justice!" was what one woman said ❤✨ Others reported:
✨"...you can just feel this is so much more than massage"
✨"...I've had years of therapy and this has only been 20 mins - AMAZING! I can only imagine what a full session or series of sessions would be like!"
✨"....Hearing the waiata and karakia before my session even started, I felt safe in the space"
✨"....I feel like my practitioner was helping me to breathe the hurt out and I could feel my body letting go"
✨"...working on the body just makes sense to me because it knows what it needs to do."
✨"....Thank you for holding space for this I don't know why it's taken me so long to get here!"
✨"....I came in 50% and I'm leaving 100%. I'm telling all my friends and family about this"
✨"...I'm standing straight without a limp! I've been walking like this for 7 years and now I'm standing straight!"

As the year draws to a close, we are reminded of how this work is important and NEEDED for ALL people. We have spent 2025 working with people from all walks of life, who have all had their own challenges to overcome in one of the toughest years we have seen in this country in decades. Public servants, students, Māori, single parents, teachers, Pasifika, rangatahi, MPs, caregivers and health workers, we see and acknowledge you all!
