A recent art project that came across our floor.
These 'Glass Sponges' are part of an art installation that has gone up in Antofagasta, Chile. The amazing Debbie Fish designed and cut out the sections using pre used shade cloth, which we sewed together.

Back in the day we would send out a newsletter to our customers. Recently we discovered old copies and have now posted them on our website.
Things have moved on from then and there is a bit of cringe along with the odd gem.

We spent the long weekend up at Peka Peka beach. Not just to relax, but for a bit of a planning weekend and a website update for AQ Bags and Linton Sails. A working weekend, but in a pretty nice spot!
Back in the workshop, I’ve been cutting down old sails, including a retired Optimist sail that's done its dash on the water. Even the smallest sails can be put to good use. That Opti sail has now been turned into a fresh batch of duffle bags and travel slings, all set for the website.
It's always good to make something useful from materials that would otherwise be headed for landfill. If you’ve got old sails cluttering up the garage or tucked away in the shed, please don’t throw them out - drop them to us. We'll turn them into something new.

Updated the website with OK Dinghy sail page.

Our current OK program started after the 2019 Worlds in Auckland. Luke O’Connell and Steve McDowell called a meeting at the local pub to discuss optimising a sail design for them.The points were that it had to be a one sail program as they had seen too many people caught out with the wrong sail ....
