We exist thanks to Rotary Club of Karori π
Rotary Club of Karori β How Can We Help?
Weβre reaching out to our wider community across Karori, Makara, Northland, and Kelburn to ask:
π Do you know of any local projects or needs we could support?
For over 40 years, Karori Rotary has proudly backed initiatives that uplift our community - from building the Karori Park playground, helping establish Zealandia Te MΔra a TΔne Ecosanctuary, and purchasing the Marsden Club Karori building for Dementia Day Care, to supporting vital causes like the new Te Wao Nui Child Health Service (Wellington Hospitals Foundation), the Life Flight Trust, and mental health support in schools through our own βLifting the Lidβ programme.
In recent years, weβve distributed nearly $30,000 to local clubs and organisations β but we want to do more, and do it better. Thatβs where you come in!
π Got a great community idea? Need a helping hand or funding boost?
Let us know, or point us toward the right people to chat with.
π We also have a few upcoming events where weβd love your help or participation:
π Karori Community Book Fair 3β4 October (with Karori Lions).
π± Working Bee at the Marsden Club Dementia Day Care House this Spring.
βοΈ Our next Business Breakfast β 30 July with guest speaker John Allen, Chief Ombudsman - do come along!
π Weβre always on the lookout for:
