The Summary "Dr Belinda Loring, Public Health Physician and Senior Research Fellow is a co-author of this journal publication’s editorial, Ethnicity is an evidence-based marker of need (and targeting services is good medical practice). Dr Loring speaks to us about the science behind ethnic targeting in health and provides us with some insight on the subject at hand. Dr Loring and the other authors have dedicated many years of research into evidence-based markers of population health needs. She is based at Te Kupenga Hauora Māori, Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences at The University of Auckland.".
