Why is muscle POWER so important?
As we get older, one of the first physical qualities we lose isn’t strength — it’s power.
Power exercises shouldn’t be avoided as we age — when programmed correctly, they’re hugely beneficial!
That doesn’t mean reckless jumping or heavy lifting. It means safe, intentional movements performed at an appropriate speed for the individual.
Here, we focus on power in a way that’s appropriate, safety conscious and effective! Because maintaining power isn’t about performance — it’s about independence, resilience, and confidence.
If you don’t train power, you lose it. And when you lose it, everyday life gets harder.
