The beginning of our new journey, if you are interested please take a look xx

Some of you may know us from our previous space Ngākau Aroha. A space we were so proud to hold and share with our community. Due to Covid and the restrictions we chose to close the doors (with a promise to return) and focus on caring for our families. We are both so excited to announce the rebirth and this new journey as Sunstone.
This will be an online space where we share our creations and visions inspired by our love of nature. In due time we will also be bringing back the opportunity to attend our group well-being days, an experience to share with your friends, family or work colleagues.
We look forward to celebrating the launch of Sunstone with you all soon, Stay tuned

For those of you that have gift vouchers for foot soaks please contact us so we can arrange once we get to Level 2. We have some exciting collaborations happening in the future so will keep you updated and keep checking in on our page as we will start putting our little treasures online.

Ngakau Aroha

A beautiful calming place to come and connect through korero, meditation, workshops and retail therapy. Somewhere you can leave your worries at the door, be accepted for who you are and where you are enough and there is no judgement. We are a unique space in Whakatane where we are surrounded by Plants & Crystals that are available for purchase. We also showcase creations from our talented community, Ngakau Aroha is also available for hire and we have healing rooms for hire also.

We have an exceptional whanau here at Ngakau Aroha with some AMAZING gifts, some of the healings we offer: Meditation, Spiritual Readings, Mirimiri, Energy Healing, Body Alignments, Womb Healing, Biofield Tuning and Relaxing Kawakawa infused Hand & Feet Rubs.

We offer Wairua Wellness Days where you can get a group of you and come and spend the day with us and we will tailor an experience to suit.

What complete us here at Ngakau Aroha is our Tamariki (Children). Our workshops offer our babies time to sit in nature and connect, we forage for Kawakawa and offer guidance on how we harvest and only take what we need. We teach them to make balms, how to find joy in our op shops and that we have everything we need in our backyards. Our kids love learning about Crystals and making bracelets and necklaces, we finish all our sessions off with gratitude and affirmation circles.
