Congratulations to everyone who competed in the Hyrox Auckland race! It's been awesome to see so many people and different levels of fitness compete and have fun!

Some say Hyrox is harder than running a marathon, and after our FIRST Mini Hyrox training session this morning, we agree that it's TOUGH! ๐Ÿฅต

(psst.. Hyrox is meant to be tough ๐Ÿซ )

And well done especially to our summer group fitness crew who used our classes to train for Hyrox Auckland ๐Ÿฅฐ Training on holiday is easier when you have a goal to aim for and good place to train, thanks for bringing an epic vibe to our classes! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผโœจ๏ธโค๏ธ

If you don't mix picklenaise and onion marmalade together and use it on eggy sandwiches, you're missing out! ๐Ÿ˜‹

Also, if you add cottage cheese to your eggs it not only helps bolster it up (feed more for less ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ), it also doubles the protein content! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ (and adds flavor if you get the chives one)๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿผ

Tips for making fast food super healthy:

๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ As we move into cooler months, don't forget your slow cooker. It produces some of the healthiest, high protein meals quicker than anything! All you have to do is chuck your ingredients in, go to work, and viola! A hot, healthy dinner awaits.

๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ Dinner doesn't have to be a grand affair (save that for breakfast!). Charcuterie boards can be modified to suit your taste and needs. Combine your favorite fruits and vegetables on a board with some hummus and homemade dips and pair with a protein shake.

๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ Plan your meals ahead of time. Wash all your veges when you bring them home, slice, dice, and store in the fridge to make meal prep easier (and make snack time more convenient!

๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ On the go? Find a fast food joint that makes food just the way you like it (healthy, filling, and fresh!) and support the s**t out of them!

This is also known as "FAIL FORWARD" ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ

To fail forward is to ALLOW yourself to fail and then LEARN from it.

When you understand the why, what, when, where, who, and how's of it all, you can then start to work on a plan so to improve the outcome/experience next time (the more you do this, the more bulletproof you'll become!)

Over time, the more time and energy you put into your own growth, the better equipped you become at handling situations that would normally knock you off course. This is how you SUCCEED โœจ๏ธ

People will repeat damaging cycles because the brain and body will always choose a known hell over a lesser known heaven. It's also habitual, and habits can be formed and broken ๐Ÿ”—๐Ÿ”จโ›“๏ธโ€๐Ÿ’ฅ

One example of this could be binge eating/drinking on weekends. It's a comfort blanket for some; you're surrounded by your favorite foods/drinks, your favorite people, your favorite escape, even if it's counterproductive to the life or body you want.

Another example might be someone who eats/doesn't eat when feeling stressed or any emotion that causes you to feel powerless or overwhelmed. You might have functioned that way for so long that you don't even realise you do it, or you may be aware that you use food as a crutch or abstain altogether, but you won't change it even if it's counterproductive to the life or body you want.

๐Ÿ’ฃ Repeating a behavior that doesn't align with your values is how to create turmoil in your mind ๐Ÿ’ฅ

Their meal plans are filled with clean, simple and essential ingredients and help them feel physically AND mentally lighter, more aware, more in tune with their gut and able to see their hindering habits in a new light so they can FAIL FORWARD ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ
