Home SWEET Home Care Home SWEET Home Care is a service offering private support to people in their own home in Whanganui, the Manawatu and South Wairarapa.

This support includes; 24 hour care, personal care, post operative, palliative, dementia support and respite.

Well what a year! After four Christmas catch ups (forgot to take photos for 2 of them) and visits to most of the clients, it’s time to sit back and take stock of what has been another successful year for HSHC. Now with 3 main regions getting more established, and 30 plus staff who are crucial to providing a top notch service. I wish to acknowledge our clients and their whanau for putting their trust in us, our wonderful team of Carers, and the other support services we align with such as Hospice, Alzheimers Society, Links First Aid, GP practices, Kit from Serious for my awesome new website, Whanganui Chamber of Commerce and many more. We look forward to continuing on with further growth of our services into 2026! What we do is an honour and a privilege. Wishing you all a safe, happy and healthy Christmas and New Year. Our team often feel privileged to be able to work amongst some beautiful people. It is times when I receive an unexpected message from a client saying that they want me to share their feedback, that I feel so humbled. Of course, the first to share this with was my wonderful team who always go above and beyond for our clients.🥰🫶🏠

It was great to connect with the Parkinson’s Support Group at their monthly meeting in Palmerston North yesterday and let them know about our services. I love their work, and the importance of coming together to support each other.🙌🏻

That morning, I also had an incredible experience at the Massey University Exercise clinic. I felt privileged to witness the phenomenal work they do helping one of our clients with their recovery following a stroke💗. The progress seen is just amazing. Lynette Hodges, Bella and their team are brilliant. Referral thru Star Ward physiotherapy at Midcentral Hospital, or self referral is welcome as well. It’s great to know what other services are out there.😇🙏🏻

Family time is something to prioritise, but not always easy to achieve. After juggling a few things around to make it happen, we had the most incredible day fishing yesterday. The fish were biting, the sea was calm and then a very special encounter with a pod of dolphins!!❤️. It was nothing short of magical.
