About me:

I am a Lightworker. This means the services I offer are channeled and are in alignment with Source, The Highest Power, God, Goddesses, Angels and other light beings. The work I do is for the highest good of all involved at this time, and comes from compassionate experience and practices. This means I have been attuned (this is the way Reiki is passed on from Master/Teacher to student) to the highest Reiki energy frequency. I am also attuned to the Violet Flame. This is said to have been previously known only to a few Ascended Masters and other Higher Beings. I have been fortunate enough to have received this attunement and I use it intuitively during my Reiki healing sessions to address persistent issues. Both healing modalities are effective and work in harmony with each other. My ancestral lineage at a glance, is a rich tapestry of both Maori and Celtic gifts and wisdom. These gifts span generations and many hundreds of years, and are layered and textured with lived experience and practices. They provide ways to navigate the human experience with safety, structure and compassion. Daniel Foor (Author of Ancestral Medicine) describes the legacy of our bright and well ancestors as including bundles of blessings and bundles of burdens. It is possible to discover the gifts that travel down our bloodlines from many sources. It is possible to recognise some of them and see what resonates in our own lives and what we may explore with growing confidence. I use ancient practices as well as more recently developed shamanic teachings to hold me safely as I discover all it means to be me. The services I offer arise from extensive study and practice so that what I offer is known by me in the deepest sense as it continues to support grounded and safe practices. The outcome is healing and expansion in ways that nurture and establish stability and wellness. These natural therapies and practices are not new, they are rediscovered, and are transforming lives now. Reiki means Universal Life Force Energy. It was rediscovered by Dr Mikao Usui and I trace my Reiki lineage back to him. Dr. Usui developed the Usui Reiki System. This means that I have clear guidelines to inform my Reiki experience. I am a paying member of Reiki NZ Inc and this means that I have the support of an organisation that I have found to be experienced and supportive of my own Reiki journey. This also means I am required to engage and work ethically and honestly with clients, and I appreciate the reassurance this provides for myself and my clients. Reiki is channeled through a practitioner and healing energy flows from the practitioner's hands. The client is fully clothed and can be seated or lying on a massage table or similar. Distance Reiki is also available and is convenient because Reiki energy flows across time and space and can be sent anywhere geographically as well as to the past or future. An example is that I can send it ahead to an appointment for a client, and the energy will wait there for you. It will be activated during your appointment to give support in the ways that you need at the time. Reiki has its own intelligence and knows where to go and what to do when it gets there, when programmed and activated by a skilled practitioner. Reiki is versatile, compassionate and effective. Reiki supports you and your whanau, including pets, through your health and wellness journey. Reiki supports the emotional, mental and physical needs of both pets and people. These needs can range from lack of confidence, trauma resulting in anxiety and lack of trust, to illness, accidents, and recovery from surgery. Pre-existing conditions can be improved. Reiki supports and is compatible with other healing modalities. Reiki is also suitable for palliative care when this becomes necessary. It is helpful to alleviate symptoms and other issues during this time. Crystals are natural, gentle and nurturing for our hearts, while helping both pets and people to give, receive and express love. Some crystals are said to help with specific aspects of our physical health when cleansed and activated. Because of the calming nature of some crystals , they are said to be beneficial in a home for a co-operative and supportive environment, as well as alleviating anxiety and its symptoms in pets and people. I combine Reiki, Crystals and Violet Flame work to amplify my attentions and enhance healing and recovery. Tarot is an ancient tool to support, affirm and guide. It has a specific structure and design where numerology and symbolism have been combined to create a wealth of support. It is an intuitive tool and with some understanding of its original intention, I combine both an appreciation for the original art form and sacredness, along with intuition when giving readings.
