We have a 10 YEAR OLD in the office! 🥳

Our gorgeous Demi turns ten today, and we couldn’t let the day go by without a wee birthday shoutout!

If you’ve popped into Dempsey and Forrest, chances are you’ve been greeted by her big smile, her helpful ways, or caught her creating magic in the office.

Demi brings so much joy, energy, and heart in to everything she does and has grown up surrounded by the love and kindness that this place represents.

Proud Moment 💛

We are so proud of our daughter Demi and her three amazing friends Chloe, Juliet and Indy, who recently raised an incredible $1001.80 for the Whanganui-Rangitikei-Waimarino Cancer Society through a self organised bake sale.

These four year five girls showed huge heart and initiative, creating a PowerPoint presentation to pitch their idea to their Headmaster. With each of them knowing someone affected by cancer, they felt strongly about supporting this cause.

With a little help from some very supportive parents in the kitchen and a whole lot of baking, selling and smiling, they made it happen.

A massive thank you to everyone who supported their efforts, such a beautiful reminder of the power of kindness, initiative and friendship. 🫶

Proud Moment! 💫

Tam’s incredibly talented daughter, Sophie, featured on Seven Sharp on Tuesday evening for the release of her debut single “Service of Mine” written by the iconic Sharon O’Neill and released by Sophie that very day.

At just 15 years old, Sophie’s voice, poise, and passion are already making waves, and we couldn’t be more excited for her.

Sophie, we are beyond proud of you and can’t wait to see where your extraordinary talent takes you.

The Rose! 🌹

A heartfelt highlight for our family this week, when James and Mel’s Daughter, Demi, delivered a beautiful and moving performance of The Rose at her Student Concert on Wednesday evening.

It was incredible to watch her perform with such courage and grace, and to witness the results of all the hard work that so many talented students have poured into their music.

A very special thank you to Lynn Whiteside, Demi’s wonderful music teacher, for your unwavering support and dedication, not just to Demi, but to all your students. You go above and beyond, and it shows.

We can’t even begin to describe the unbelievable time and effort that Tam and Paul, our incredible Dempsey and Forrest sponsored duo, have put into preparing for this event. Their dedication over the past few months has been nothing short of inspiring, and we couldn’t be prouder!
